Bioplastic Compounds
This group of biobased, biodegradable and compostable products is made from starch and/or flour from grains, roots, or seeds.
The material is specially formulated for various manufacturing techniques and serves as a renewable substitute for petroleum-based plastics like polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene, and polyvinyl chloride.
The compounds can be directly used to produce bioplastic products through common methods like injection molding, sheet and profile extrusion, thermoforming, blown film extrusion, and cast film extrusion.
The resulting products have a natural aesthetic and texture.
